Association:
To provide leadership,
legislative voice, professional development, and support
for the integration of technology into teaching and learning in Oklahoma.

activities that support OTA’s mission:

Providing
information and services to members, teachers, districts,
legislators, and the general public.

Monitoring state
and federal legislation.

Providing
opportunities for professional development at the annual
conference and other workshops.

Providing
just-in-time technology training for emerging technologies.

Providing
information to allow members to develop local relationships
with their legislators.

Communicating
regularly with members via the association website,
newsletters, and regular updates during the legislative
session.

Involving more
districts than those of the executive board in providing
services to members.

educational technology in the legislature.

legislation for funding technology in Oklahoma schools.
